Appliance Repair – Website Design (NME)
Designed the website for IP Appliances as a freelance designer in collaboration with the team at NU Media Edge. While the agency led the marketing and SEO strategy, I was responsible for the entire visual direction, including site design, layout structure, section flow, and selected copywriting.
Working from a general content framework provided by the agency, I rebuilt the visual structure to improve usability, hierarchy, and clarity across devices. The original client palette leaned heavily into magenta tones; my role included refining the colour scheme to present a more professional, modern tone, introducing deeper purples, soft greys, and clean white space for contrast.
My role in the project:
Design of layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile
Visual hierarchy, typography, and button systems
Image placements, transitions, and interactive elements
A flexible, brand-aligned design system using sans-serif fonts, neutral tones, and subtle contrast to elevate the user experience
The result is a product-focused, professionally styled site that reflects the client’s offering while supporting the agency’s SEO strategy and content goals.
