Charcuterie Board Package Design
Designed two packaging concepts for Luxe Decor Life’s charcuterie board sets, created one year apart and tailored to shifting retail expectations. Both projects followed a mainly black packaging design per client request, but with different creative goals. Both designs were created for a product sold by a large retail chain in North and South America.
The 2023 version was developed with a premium and classic aesthetic, incorporating gold detailing, a clean layout, and a descriptive back panel. The goal was to position the product as an upscale gift item, aligned with traditional presentation cues.
In 2024, the direction shifted to a more modern and contemporary feel while keeping the brand’s darker swatches. I updated the layout, introduced small product illustrations alongside descriptions, and placed greater focus on lifestyle-driven food photography. The visual tone is fresher, bolder, and better suited for evolving shelf trends.
These two designs reflect how packaging can evolve while staying consistent with a core identity, balancing tradition and trend across product cycles.
