Project Overview

Credible enough for wholesale, warm enough for a living room.

Luxe Decor Life needed a site that could speak to two audiences at once, retail and wholesale buyers evaluating them as a serious B2B partner, and end customers browsing home decor. The original site read as generic product messaging with flat hierarchy, undercutting a brand with decades of experience and a genuinely strong product range.

As Design Lead, I led the full brand refresh and website redesign, developing the visual direction, layout system, and page architecture across the site.
See it live here

[01] The Challenge

The existing site lacked depth and hierarchy across nearly every page. The homepage led with generic claims ("Leaders in Home Decor & Furniture") instead of showing what actually set the brand apart, and pages like the About section buried decades of manufacturing and sourcing experience under flat, uninspired layout. The site needed to read as polished and credible to retail and business clients evaluating a wholesale partner, without losing the warmth that makes people want to buy for their own home.

[02] The Response

I rebuilt the visual direction around a stronger editorial voice, replacing generic messaging with bold, confident statements ("We are pioneers when it comes to home decor") backed by warm-toned lifestyle photography and a more immersive layout. On the About page, refined animated typography and a strong visual lead gave the brand's 1999 origin and craftsmanship story room to actually land, rather than sitting under a flat headline. Clean typographic hierarchy and structured grids were applied across the full site to guide retail and wholesale visitors through collections and services with ease.

[03] Before VS After

Comparison of two website designs for a home decor and furniture store, labeled 'Before' and 'After'. The 'Before' version has a white background with black and gray text, and an image of decorative mirrors. The 'After' version features a warm beige background with elegant white text and a background photo of a modern interior with wall art, a chair, and a decorative vase.

Before → After: Homepage Hero Section

Shifted from generic product messaging to a bold, editorial statement. I used warm tones, lifestyle photography, and a more immersive layout to reflect Luxe Decor’s identity in a modern way.

Before → After: “What We Do” to "About Us" Page

The original layout lacked depth and hierarchy. In the redesign,
I introduced a strong visual lead, refined animated typography, and soft styling to better express the brand’s values and heritage.
